Day 3425

I woke up at 7:30, played games, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast.  We didn't need to go very far, so I surfed until about 9:15.  Then I started to hook up.

We were on the road before 10.  There weren't anywhere near the trucks that were on the road yesterday.  The weather was weird.  It went from warm, to cloudy, to very light snow in Flagstaff.  Later on it was light to heavy rain.  By Kingman it was just cloudy.

I finally got a thorough regen.  It happened at 150 miles and lasted for over 40 miles.  When it was finished the soot level was 0.  It stayed that way for 50 miles and then started increasing normally.  I'm very happy.  Through all of that we got 11 mpg for the 190 mile trip.

One thing I learned today about traveling through here.  It would have been OK to stop at Williams instead of Meteor Crater.  It's longer, but the extra distance is an easy drive.  Also, the Williams we knew years ago has massively changed.  There are housing developments all over along with the expected commercial development.  I'd really like to see the place.  Maybe we can do it next year.

We got to the campground about 12:30.  We unhooked, had lunch, and then went into Kingman for dog food and some groceries.  Then we came back hoe and watched videos until dinner time.  We went down to the truck stop.  It still has good food.  The prices are a lot more now though.

When we got back we watched videos until bed time.  It's cold and the showers are a long way away.  I plan on dumping the tanks here, so we decided to shower in the trailer.  I'll hook up the hose tomorrow.
