I slept in this morning, until 8:30. Yesterday really took a lot out of me. I'm just not very used to stress any more.
After breakfast I did a couple of domestic chores. Ellen called and said they wanted to do training at the hospital. I told them to set it up for 1. Then I went out to the garage and sanded down the flamingo that I bought awhile back at an estate sale. I only pent about 20 minutes on it because I wanted to get going.
Lucy REALLY didn't want to be tied up in the bedroom. She was crying when I left. I had her lead securely shortened and I left her chew toy with her so she could take out her frustrations.
I left the house a little after 10 and drove up to the Silencer Shop. I watched a guy buy four of them. Then I asked my questions and got them answered thoroughly. I'll probably buy one or two tomorrow.
After that I had lunch a McDonald's and then went to the hospital. I was there early, so I just talked with Ellen and played Minions. For once they were on time. At 1 the same nurse who gave us the training earlier came in. She actually changed the bag with us watching and me doing some of the process. It was a lot more instructive than the dry run she did. The process is not really difficult, but it is a pain in the ass.
After she was done I stayed for a little while. I left at 3, which turned out to be a little late. I ran into a three mile slowdown/traffic jam North of the river. Things were slow from the river to past 360. It took over an hour to get home via the post office. I almost used to slow traffic though.
It seems the next few days will be rain free, so when I got home I rinsed off the car. It was hot, over 90. It felt good to finally get the Kerrville dust off of the car.
After that I went inside and did some research on silencers. It turns out that jug ears is screwing up buying with a trust also, so I'll definitely buy two tomorrow. I'm also going to see about buying a SBR this weekend.
That took most of the evening. I watched a taped episode of Deadliest catch. I also called Mom. Ellen called just to talk for a little while. Now I'm going to bed.
