A real heavy thunderstorm came up about 6 this morning. There was lots of thunder and lightning, wind, and rain. I went outside in the deluge and put the car in the garage. I was soaked when I got back and had to use the dryer to dry off my hair.
I got back in bed and went to sleep. The thunder made it a little difficult. I woke up late and stayed in bed for quite awhile. It was almost 11 when we got up.
I finished my online shopping and ordered a whole lot of stuff. Now I have to wait for it to all come in. I kept shopping though. Now I'm looking for the parts to build a 9mm AR pistol. It's going to be expensive, so it may be awhile before I start ordering the parts.
The "get Ellen out" expedition was to HEB in Dripping Springs. We couldn't take the dog because it was too hot. She sure doesn't like the cage. Ellen walked all around the store. She was really tired when we got back.
Dola came over again and talked with Ellen for quite awhile. I think they are going to become friends.
