I got up in the morning and did a little surfing while I waited until 9:30. As soon as it was 9:30 I called the trucking company. After some time on hold I got a human. Unfortunately they couldn't help me much. They did tell me that delivery was scheduled for "late morning, early afternoon". They couldn't get me a call from the driver.
So I loaded some magazines into the car and parked in the parking lot at the shop. It was a cool, windy, day so it wasn't bad to sit there. I read and waited. The truck came about 11:30, so I don't think I waited more the an hour and a half.
When I got home I put the ammo in the garage and got Ellen. We went to the bank and had our signatures notarized on the trust. Then we went to NXNW for lunch. I think it's likely to be the last time we eat out together for months. The next stop was Costco for some water. I ran the dog at the grassy area by the parking lot. Unfortunately there were stickers there, so I don't think she did as many retrieves as she might have done.
The last stop was the post office.
When we got home I scanned in the trust. That was a pain in the ass. Load one sheet in the scanner, walk to the kitchen to scan the page, then walk back to the scanner for the next page. Repeat for 21 pages. Things got worse. Neither yahoo or gmail would let me email that big a file. I finally emailed the lawyer and he said just send the signature pages. He OK'd everything when he got them.
After that I didn't feel like doing anything else. So I spent the rest of the afternoon surfing and reading. In the evening I watched the gun shows. I fell asleep at one point. I'm not sure how much I missed.
Ellen has been spending the whole day sewing and watching TV on her computer. I think she's trying to forget about what's coming. I sure am.
