I got up this morning at the usual time. The day started out well, I stepped in a pile of cat vomit when I went into the kitchen. I cleaned the cat box, fed the animals, took out the garbage, and started the wash. I also drove the car over to the garage so I could unload the ammo. That's when I found that they had broken open one case and lost a box. Oh well.
We talked and Melissa did a little work while we waited to leave for the airport. She was on a conference call while we were in the car. It brought back a strong feeling of DejaVu for the many times I'd sat in similar meetings. How I hated them after awhile. We got her to the airport in plenty of time.
On the way home we stopped at the doggy bakery and the yuppie grocery store. I was going to run the dog when we got to the post office, but I forgot. It was raining lightly anyway. It did that all morning.
I spent the rest of the day surfing an shopping on Amazon. I bought a couple of things. Ellen sewed and watched TV. I really got bored. The cool rainy morning changed into a hot, sunny, afternoon. Then the clouds came back. Tonight there's a big thunderstorm to the south of us. There's plenty of thunder and lightning in that direction.
