This is going to be a short post because I'm tired and want to go to bed.
I got up early this morning, did the morning chores, and went to the hospital. I wanted to see the doctor. Ellen had a blowout this morning. She told me not to bring anything because the hospital was handling it. When I got there there was no doctor and no nurse. We waited a couple of houris with no response from anyone. So I went home to get the stuff - a 60 mile round trip.
When I got back we started the change. Her stitches were bleeding. I was halfway through the change when the doctor came in. He was mortified and wanted me to wait for a nurse. I explained how we hadn't any luck there. He left to go find one. I continued.
The nurse showed up in a few minutes. She didn't know much about the process, but helped. We finally got it done. No doctors for the rest of the day.
I ran the dog, she only did 13 retrieves because of the heat. Then I went home.
Ellen says she's feeling better, but I'm still really worried. Tomorrow I'll call her surgeon.
