Day 224

I started out the day with a little Minions.  Then it was the normal clean cat box, feed animals, feed myself.  Then a little surfing.  I left a little before 10 to go to a couple of estate sales.  I took the dog with me even though it was partly cloudy.  I just couldn't withstand her pleading.

The first sale had a lot of interesting garage items.  The pricing was remarkably consistent.  Everything I was interested in was prices about twice the maximum that I would ever pay for it.  The second place had nothing that interested me.

Lucy's parking karma came through again.  When I pulled into the parking structure there was a person leaving on the first level.  So she got a covered space without me having to go through any stress.

Ellen is still hurting.  The drain they put in is producing quite a bit of disgusting fluid.  I sat and talked with her as well as playing a Minions party.  I was there until almost 4.  The doctor made her sit in a chair.  She even volunteered by herself to walk the length of the floor and back.

The dog really needed to pee when I got back.  Then I drove over to the post office.  Traffic was OK, but really backed up at the end of 290.  Luckily I turned off and took the surface street to the post office.  Two packages from Amazon were there.  One had some gun things (sights and a case).  The other had dog bones for Lucy.

I stopped at the park by the post office on the way home to run Lucy.  She did over 20 long retrieves, which was good considering it was almost 90 degrees.  We went home via Mopac, which wasn't bad at all.

When I got home I sat on the deck and played the rest of the Minions party.  Then I had dinner and then surfed some more.  Ellen called to say that the surgeon's partner and the oncologist both showed up.  It was basically for moral support though.  Apparently her care is going to be handled by the weekend doctor.  They did say that she'll be there through the weekend.  Later she called again to say that they won't let her have anything by mouth after midnight.  Normally that means a procedure tomorrow.  Only no one has told her of one.

After a couple of hours of surfing I got tired of that and opened the Amazon packages.  The case was really nice.  I put the .22's in it and then tried to fit it in the safe.  That required rearranging everything.  It took an hour or more, but I finally got it done.  Everything fits a lot better now.

After that it's about time to go to bed.  Maybe a little Minions first.
