Day 210

I got up at 7:30 today.  I didn't sleep well last night - I must have woken up 5 times.  So I decided I might as well get up.  After breakfast I went out and did some masking on the flamingo.  Then I painted the black parts.  After that I still had about an hour before I could leave, so I just surfed.  Minions is right out.  The next step is a party.

I left about 10 for the Silencer shop.  A dump truck had overturned at 1826 and 45.  It was quite a sight laying on it's side.  I got there at 10:45.  Unfortunately there was someone else waiting for them to open.  That made me second in line when they opened at 11.  I waited while this guy bought a silencer and a trust.  Then it was my turn.  I bought the 30 cal silencer they showed me yesterday.  I also got a second adapter for it.  I ordered a .22 silencer.  It's supposed to be in in a month.  The whole bill, two silencers, adapter, two tax stamps, and sales tax was almost $2,000.

When I was done there I went over to the Class 3 place where I would pick up the silencers.  They don't seem to be much of a business.  They claim to be open for 2 hours on Saturday.  I then tried to go to a place shown on Google.  They don't exist anymore.  It was getting late, so I had lunch at a BBQ place and then went to the hospital.

The nurse didn't show up until 1:30.  Ellen and I talked a little and surfed while we waited.  She really wants to get out of there, but I think she's got another 2 or 3 days.  The nurse didn't do anything when she showed up because the other nurses had already drained the bag.  I left right after she did at 2.  I wanted to miss the traffic.  No such luck.  It was as bad as yesterday.  That may be because it was Friday, or maybe it's always bad.

I stopped by the post office on the way home.  Traffic sucked on 290, so I went back to Mopac.  It was fine.

I screwed up today when I left the dog.  Apparently I didn't get her leash fully connected.  She was loose all day.  She went ape shit.  She pulled down a curtain, chewed up a Kleenex box and a tube of tooth paste and really messed up Ellen's stash of art supplies.  No harm there, she hasn't used them in years.  The worst thing was that she tried to chew her way out.  The bottom of the door frame on both sides is trashed.  I sanded it down, but it will need to be filled in with putty and repainted.  It won't every look undamaged.

After cleaning up the mess (it took awhile), I went back out to the garage.  I took the tape off the flamingo from this morning and put on more.  Then I painted the brown and white areas.  Tomorrow I'll finish up with the pink.  I also took the time to fully inventory my AR parts.  It turns out I bought one mor buffer kit than I have lowers.  How embarrassing.

After that I went back in for dinner and some surfing.  I looked up Class 3 dealers to go to tomorrow.  I discovered that jug ears new rule is going to apply to trust trustees also.  That means that I need to purchase a SBR soon also.

I think I'll go to bed and surf awhile now.
