Most of today was uneventful. It was washing day, so we did the wash. We also changed her appliance. We used another type to see if it would refrain from leaking. I'm going to be so happy when we get practiced at it.
I did a lot of surfing and internet shopping. I ordered stuff from a couple of places. Ellen spent most of the day sitting, sewing, and watching TV. She said that her guts were hurting her.
I felt sorry for the dog, so I took her swimming. I took her to the part of Circle C where the creek just enters the park. The current there was pretty strong due to the amount of rain we've had. It was funny. She was having a great time going out with the current and a difficult time getting back. She seemed confused that she was working so hard and making such little progress. She did an amazing amount of retrieves on the water and the land.
I stopped at HEB and the post office on the way back.
When I got home it was more surfing and a little Minions. Ellen kept complaining about pain, so she took a couple of Valium.
About 8:15 she took her temperature. It was 101+. Time to go to the ER. We went to the ST. David's south because they have all her records. They saw us after about an hour wait. The doctor wanted a CT scan, another 2 hours. The verdict was admit her for an abscess. After that we saw no one for more than 2 hours. I finally left at 3:30 AM.
The dog was jumping all over when I got home and absolutely wouldn't go out to pee. She did get up on the bed when I got in bed. I let her stay. That turned out to be a good thing. Later on a big thunderstorm started. It lasted all the rest of the night.
