We got a leisurely start to the day. We had breakfast, Melissa had her coffee. We did a little surfing and reading. About 10:00 we locked the dog in her cage (she cried) and left. We stopped at Home Depot first. Melissa got the things she wanted to fix the cabinets. I got some wire for the railroad and a new shower head for the one Ellen broke.
After that we went to Spec's. They were having a special activity. There were a dozen or more booths giving samples of the foodstuffs and wine. We ended up with a few things. It was neat to be able to sample the stuff before buying it.
The next stop was Cabela's. I had a card from them that allowed me to buy at employee prices. Ellen found a couple of pairs of pants. We also got a "Life is good" t-shirt for Martha. We couldn't find a good quiver belt for Ellen though. I mad a quick look through the gun area before we left. I found the Buckmark that I wanted. That led to a long wait for a counter guy, and then a longer wait to fill out the paperwork. It was worth it though. I got $50 off on the Buckmark. It was worth the wait.
We then stopped at HEB. We needed bananas, sandwich stuff, and mojito ingredients. It was raining hard by then, so I went in alone.
We got home about 4 for more reading and surfing. I installed the new shower head. It fit fine. It doesn't look quite like the old one, but that might be because its finish is new and the rest are old. Give it time.
After about an hour we put on another Minions movie for Melissa. She likes them, but probably not as much as I do.
