I got up at the regular time today. Then I stayed in bed for about an hour surfing and playing Minions. When I did get up I played a little Minions and surfed a lot.
A little before noon I packed Ellen in the car and we went to the post office. First we stopped at Wally World to get some tape for her bandages. When I got there the car flashed a "key battery low" message". The key takes a 2035 battery. Wally World was out. So I had to go over to Target. $5.25 for one battery. Highway robbery.
The dog REALLY wanted to go today. It was cloudy, so we let her. After the post office I ran her in the park. Ellen got out to get her walking in. It's painful to watch her. The dog did 12 really long retrieves before the 90 degree weather got to her.
We stopped at the hamburger place on William Cannon for lunch. I had a hamburger and Ellen had a lemonade. Then we stopped at the Circle C ice cream place. Lucy had doggie treats, I had ice cream, and Ellen had nothing. She has very little stamina. Just this little bit of driving around wiped her out.
When we got home I surfed and read. Ellen watched TV and sewed. Dola came over about 6 to talk. I think it helps Ellen to have someone to talk to.
In the evening we watched a couple of episodes of Blacklist. We only have a couple to go. Then we'll have to wait until the end of this season to watch it.
