I played Minions waited around until 9:30 to call the trucking place. They are going to deliver it tomorrow and call me first. Minions is busy building an earthquake machine, so there wasn't any more game playing today. Melissa called in to a meeting and then talked to the guy taking over her old job.
After the call to the trucking place we just sat around and talked for awhile. I was determined to take Melissa to Lake Travis. So we left about 10:30. We took the dog ecause there's covered parking. I promised her a swim. There was a heavy rainstorm between Bee Cave and the dam. There was a little lightning, but that was all. I was disappointed because I wanted to sit at the Oasis and watch the storm. The dog was disappointed because we didn't take her swimming - it was raining cats and dogs.
Lunch was fun. We had a view of the lake and watched the storm clear while we ate. By the time we were finished It was just a light overcast. I took Melissa out on the deck so she could see the whole view.
We stopped at the parked by the dam so Lucy could swim. Sh was ecstatic. She did a whle lot of retrieves. I stopped when she was getting slow getting out of the water. She didn't argue.
When we got home we sort of vegged out. I surfed, Ellen watched TV and Melissa did a little work and a little surfing.
We had Caesar salad and frozen pizza for dinner. They are watching Minions right now and I think I'll join them.
