We woke up at 7:30 today, but stayed in bed for awhile. When we got up it was pet stuff and breakfast. Then we walked over to the storage unit.
I was glad to see that the Bronco's battery was charged. We went through all of the boxes that I'd brought here last summer. There were at least a dozen of them. There's no way we can take more than one or two. There's room, but the trailer is already loaded really heavy.
We separated out some items from the boxes. There were a few items of clothes along with miscellaneous items like personal stuff and electronics. The whole collection barely filled a box.
When we were done with that I backed out the Bronco. It had leaked a lot of fluid. I found out what when I pushed the brake pedal. We took the stuff from the storage unit back to the trailer and then went to the gas station. I filled up the Bronco and bought a can of brake fluid. The brake fluid improved the brakes.
We stopped at the hardware store for a socket so I could tighten the trailer lug nuts. I also got some wood glue to try to repair the floor. The next stop was the Richland Cafe for lunch. It was good.
After that we went to see Dan and Patsy. They had people working on the house. We talked for hours in the yard while Dan got his pontoon boot put away for the winter. He's going to sell it because he only used it twice this year.
About 4 we took the dogs to Sportsman's Access. Lucy had a great time. She got the scent of a covey of quail that Sugar flushed. She then spent quite awhile in the tall grass looking for more. She was a tired doggy when we got done.
We took Lucy home for dinner. Then we went back to Dan and Patsy's. We brought an old programmable TV remote and Ellen set it up for Dan to use. The football game was a good one. Seattle barely won and there was a lot of incredible plays during the game.
We didn't have dinner, so when we got home about 9 we had a few snacks. Then it was surfing and bed.
