We woke up at 8:15, but didn't get out of bed until after 9. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. As soon as that was over I went out to continue unpacking the trailer.
I moved everything from behind the recliners, above the sofa and under the sofa to the house. I also cleared out the rest of the stuff in the refrigerator. It was an amazing amount of stuff. I can imagine how loaded the trailer was when we were coming down. No wonder the mileage was so poor.
When that was done I moved the guns into the safe. Then I went back outside to deal with the collapsed truck cover. Garbage day is tomorrow and I wanted to throw all of the damaged stuff away. I couldn't stand all of the weeds growing in the gravel, so I started by pulling them. There were a lot, and it took awhile. Then I untied the tarp and threw it away.
It turns out that the cover wasn't damaged, so I folded it up and put it in the basketball court. Then I started unscrewing the damaged frame pieces from the good ones. A little bit more than half of the pieces were toast. Everything went into the garbage can and the can went out to the road. It took over two hours to do it all. I was really tired by the time it was done.
I went inside and had a late lunch - a sandwich from yesterday. The I surfed for the rest of the afternoon -I was tired.
Dinner was a salad from HEB. After dinner we watched movies on Netflix. I haven't got around to fixing the antenna. It didn't get above 45 today and I didn't feel like going back out to work after the wind picked up.
Around 10 I heard banging on the back porch. A raccoon was trying to get into the bird seed. I'm going to have to figure a way to kill it.
