Day 1434

We got up at 7, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and hooked up the truck.  We were on the road at 8.

The drive to Baker City went a little faster than I thought it would.  The trailer does tow heavy though.  We only got 8 mpg and there were places where the truck plain ran out of power.

Getting fuel at Baker City was easy - drive in, pump, and drive out.  The drive to Boise was also easy.  I didn't even have any problems with trucks.  The drive through Boise had to be the easiest I've ever done.  Traffic was light all of the way.

The only real hangup was fuel in Boise.  The Freddies station has great access and good prices.  However, it doesn't have a toilet.  We had to stop at the Lowe's next door.  It has easy access, non-bio fuel, and prices that are 45 cents higher than Freddies.

The rest of the drive to Deklo was just as uneventful as the first leg.  I think we're going to have to get used to 9.5 mpg or lower though.  When we got there we decided to fuel up at the Sinclair across the freeway from the park.  It was a good decision.  The price at the park was 17 cents higher.  All in all the trip today was just about perfect.

When we got to the park we set up.  Connecting the TV caused a little problem.  First, I had to use another TV connector.  Second, the TV didn't want to change to cable on the RF input.  We got it worked out though.  I'm not sure it was worth it.  We're watching the Dodgers get killed in a playoff game.

We ordered dinner from the park restaurant.  It was OK.  After dinner was more TV and some surfing.  It's early to bed.  Because of the time zones change we'll be getting up early tomorrow.
