Day 1449

We woke up at 7:30.  After some surfing we got up, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and started the wash.

After the wash was started I went to work on some small chores.  I put a metal bar in the partition under the sink so that Cooper couldn't get into the garbage.  Then I replaced the catch on the silverware drawer.  It's a little better than before.  Finally I screwed the drawer partitions in one drawers down so they wouldn't shift.

All of that took until 11.  The wash was done at the same time.  We put the wash away and made the bed.  Then we went over to the park restaurant for lunch.  I had a brisket sandwich.  It was really good.

After lunch we put the dog in the car and went in search of more dog food.  We went over to a place on the other side of I19.  They didn't have anything.  So then we went to a place on the other side of the air base.  It had the food.  We must have driven 20 miles or more.

When we got home it was hot.  So I did some surfing and drank a large IPA.  Then I sat in the recliner and went to sleep (surprise, surprise).  When I woke up it was more TV and surfing.

Ellen fixed coconut shrimp for dinner.  After dinner was more TV and surfing.  About 8 I went outside to turn on the new pink flamingo.  I forgot to close the screen door panel.  Of course Cooper immediately jumped out. I didn't notice at first.  When I did I couldn't find him in the dark.  I got a flashlight and started a search.  Fortunately he'd only gone to the empty spot on the street side of the trailer.  I'm worried some day we'll lose him.  He is determined to get out any time he can.
