We only had to go 200 miles today, so we didn't get up very early. By the time we did get, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and packed up it was about 10.
The trip went well. The drive through Salt Lake City was OK. There didn't seem to be more then medium traffic anywhere along the way. South of SLC the combination of traffic and construction was a real pain in the ass. I got a chance to test the best case mileage on the drive from Brigham City through SLC. We got 11.4 mpg on mainly flat road, no wind, and 65 mph. Mileage on the other legs sucked though, 9.5 was about the best for the day.
For whatever reason the drive seemed long even though it was only 200 miles. I was really glad to be done. We got to the park and were set up before 3. We did the wash and then took the dog for a walk. There's a path by a creek that encircles the campground. She got to smell a lot of nice smells.
We ordered dinner from the cafe at the campground and had it delivered. It was OK. We really did it for the novelty.
After dinner it was surfing and bed.
