We got up at 7, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and packed up the trailer. We were on the road at 8.
The tripe was it's normal boring self. For once the trucks weren't a problem. The wind was. We were bucking a 20+ mph headwind for about 2/3 of the way. Fuel mileage sucked. We got 7.3 for the last 150 miles.
Traffic through El Paso was it's usual chaos. At least there wasn't any construction this time. We averaged a little over 60 mph for the whole trip. We got to Van Horn in a little over 7 hours. We lost 2 hours due to timezone changes, so we didn't get in until after 5. Tomorrow will suck. If we get up at 7, it will be like getting up at 5.
When we got to Van Horn it was windy and cold - mid 50's. We didn't unhook, just leveled the trailer.
The evening was TV and surfing.
