Day 1441

We got up about 8, did the pet stuff, and went over to the cafeteria for breakfast.  It was OK, but nothing special.  When we were done we left for the strip.

The normal place that I park behind the Linq now charges $15 to park there.  So we drove to Treasure Island and parked there.  I wanted to go to the arcade there, but they've gotten rid of it.  So we left it and went out on the strip.

We stopped at the Palazzo and the Venetian.  We spent a lot of time in the souvenir shops so I could buy some key chains.  We also had fun looking at all of the incredible displays and architecture.  We looked at both the upstairs and outside gondola's.  They're fun to watch.

We eventually made it to the Linq alley.  I had a Guinness and we walked through the place.  We stopped at the Flamingo and played a new slot machine based on Monty Python's Holy Grail.  We won $15 or so on it.  That takes our total 2 day losses to a little over $10.

We had lunch at the fish and chips place that Dave had recommended.  It was really good.  It was also really crowded.

The next stop was Caesar's where I got my Mojito.  It cost $26.  At one time that would have bothered me, now it doesn't.  We just have too much money in the bank to worry about expenses like that anymore.

Going through Caesar's was really fun.  We didn't see any of the statue shows, but their aquarium was really neat.

Our last stop was the Lego store in the mall next to Treasure Island.  The mall is huge.  I found a kit I want to buy, but I'll order it when I get home.  It's too big a pain in the ass to haul it home.  We ddi get some doggy munchies from a kiosk.

After that we went home.  I was planning on watching the game at the Mirage, but we were both too tired.  That mojito kind of did me in.

When we got home we to the dog to the park and then fed everyone.  Then we sort of collapsed into the chairs.  Dinner was leftover sandwiches from yesterday's lunch.

The rest of the evening was watching football and other TV.  The wifi connection here is unusable and the Verizon signal is weak.  That limits surfing.
