We woke up at 8, but didn't get out of bed until a little after 9. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. It was great to see Cooper start eating something. He ate some of the chicken and some dry cat food. He's not back to normal, but it's a big improvement.
After breakfast we got to work cleaning the trailer. We wanted the trailer to be as clean as possible when we get home tomorrow. That will minimize the work we have to do unpacking it. I cleaned the bedroom and the bathroom. Ellen did the kitchen. I also cleaned the kitchen table and the area below it. The whole place looks pretty good now.
That effort took until about 11:30. We got out the jewels and identified which ones we wanted identified, put the dog in the truck, and went to Fredericksburg.
The jeweler was out, so we walked the downtown. We got a t-shirt for Hooch for Christmas. We also got a couple of cookies and some fudge. We ate lunch at a BBQ pace we hadn't been to inyears. It was a s good as we remembered.
The jeweler was busy when we got back there - another jewelry nerd. We waited until he was done and then we had him identify the stones. One was a nice sapphire. We ended up having him make up a ring with a Tsavorite that we'd bought years ago. It's worth at least twice the price I'd marked on it. Ellen liked one of the sword pendants he makes. She wasn't going to buy it, but I told her to.
We filled up the truck and went back to the trailer about 4. We cut the dog's toenails. She wasn't amused. Cooper has learned to both open the screen door panel and open the screen door. We had to chase him three times. The door will have to stay shut until I can put some latches on the screen door.
Dinner was leftovers. After dinner was TV and surfing.
