Day 133

Today was a lot less intense than the last three days. We did a little calling around concerning some of the investments. We didn't make a lot of progress except to find out that we won't be able to deal with any accounts of Dad's until we get a death certificate and the court certifies mother as executor.

The Greeks and the cemetery are still debating who owns the plot Dad will be buried in. We told them to figure it out and let us know.

Tony went back to Seattle "to do an appraisal". We suspect that he's coming back with his boyfriend. Apparently his boyfriend is black. Tony didn't take his drugs today. This is a little worrisome.

I spent part of the day assembling the slot car set that I bought Hooch. I figured that he would like to play with it. It's a pretty complicated set and it took quite awhile to get it working. We got it done about 11:00 tonight. Hooch seems pretty happy with it. I hope he gets some time to play with it.

We just flat ran out of time in collecting pictures for the funeral multimedia thing. Dan had to rush down to the funeral home to get them and the contract to it before closing time. He literally stopped the guy in the parking lot as he was leaving to go home. If he had missed him, there wouldn't have been a funeral.

We went downtown in the evening to have dinner and then Hooch and Julia went to get their hair cut. That left the kids with Mom and me. We spent the time in the children's section of a book store. It was quite wearing trying to keep them quiet and at the same time making sure they didn't destroy any books. We were moderately successful, but it was 90 minutes I'd rather not have to do again.
