Ellen did more painting. She finished the last wall of the small bedroom and the trim in the master bedroom. With two doors and a large window there was a lot of it. This was in spite of taking a big part of the day off.
I got a hold of the guy selling the file cabinet. We went over and looked at it. It's a nice, old, heavy, piece of furniture. It's in great shape so we bought it. It won't hold modern hanging folders until I figure out a way to modify it. After we bought the file cabinet we stopped at Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and a sub shop for lunch. We got a Blade Runner blu-ray and some rugs for the front and back entries.
I did a lot of miscellaneous things. I put up a closet rod in the apartment laundry area so we could hang up the clothes when they come out of the wash. I installed the blinds. I spent half an hour trying to puzzle out the instructions for the TV mount. It looks like a bit of work, so I left it for tomorrow. I also unpacked part of a box of files. I threw a lot of it away, and left some for Ellen to sort out.
