Day 145

I won 1 and a half pots at Bingo tonight. That was the only pleasant thing about today.

We started the day doing the wash and preparing the trailer for the move. Lots of things needed disconnecting and stowing. Both tanks needed draining and then the hose needed to be cleaned and put away. That's one of my favorite jobs. All of this took the whole morning.

Then we went out to do some shopping. We stopped by a local pet store and bought Lucy some buffalo bones. She loves them. Then on to the grocery store so that we won't have to worry about food for the next few days.

When we got back I tried to get the garbage service started. ATT wouldn't cooperate. It kept dropping the call. When the call finally went through the person at the other end could barely hear me. It didn't matter, ATT dropped the call before I could complete the signup. I was pissed and gave up.

We had some carrots that we bought for Charlie the donkey. We went to the back of the park to see him, but he wasn't in sight. We called for awhile and he showed up. Lucy was jealous, so she got one of the carrots, too.

The PODS people called about 5:30 to tell us that they would deliver the furniture at 7:15 AM tomorrow. We couldn't get then to change the time, so after bingo we hooked up and drove to the house. There were some trees that were too close to the entrance. I had to cut one 4 inch branch off with a hacksaw. Even then we damaged the TV antenna coming in. In the dark it took about an hour to park the trailer in the place we wanted it. All told, it was 1:00 AM before we got to bed.
