I got up fairly early because I wanted to shovel gravel while it was cool. After starting the wash I loaded the back of the truck with gravel from a pile the sellers had left. I used it to fill in a pothole in the road that exposed a drain pipe. Then I did another load for a pothole near the gate. I used the rest of the pile to partially fill in a low spot at the curve of the road. That and finishing the wash at the same time took until noon. By then it was too hot to do anymore anyway.
At noon I went to a seller's house and picked up a set of bathroom lights. They are very similar to the ones that we had in our Beaverton house. When I got back I installed them. The cover plate matched the existing one exactly, so there isn't any unpainted areas around the new lights.
By the time I was finished installing the lights it was time to meet with the roofing guy and sign the contract. It seems that we should have a new roof by the end of the week.
I didn't get dinner because by the time the roofing guy left it was almost time to go pick up Ellen at the airport. The damn airport doesn't have a cell phone lot. So I ended up parking at a gas station near the airport until she called.
It will be an early morning tomorrow because the alarm people are supposed to show up at o dark thirty. They are supposed to call first, so I'll use the phone as an alarm.
