Day 150

We didn't get up very early today. It was nice to sleep in a little.

I called several places to get estimates for roofing. One place called back immediately and sent out a person today to do an estimate. The others didn't respond. The Pods people came by to pick up the empty pod. I'm glat to be rid of that company.

I left messages and e-mails for several Craig's list sellers. None responded. I guess everyone has the Monday blahs.

Even with a late start we got a lot accomplished. Ellen got the rest of the trim painted. I got the cat room prepped for painting so we can start that tomorrow. I also made some headway on the unpacking. I put the shelves in the china cabinet and unpacked the things that go in it. It was slow work unwrapping all that fragile stuff.

Then I started on the kitchen. We have 26 boxes of kitchen stuff. I managed to unpack 9. They were mainly dishes and glasses with one box of cookware. I'm also beginning to break down the empty boxes. I'll store them in the storage shed until the next time we need to move.

The good weather we've had for about a week is over. It just started raining pretty hard and it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow.
