Day 157

It was a pretty productive day. I started out with phone calls. First to the survey people to ask why we haven't received a copy. The lady said she'd send it out today (that's what she said two weeks ago). Then to find an antenna for the trailer. There was a place in Buda that had one. They wanted $23 more than camping world, but they are half the distance away.

The third call was to one of the roofing contractors. He answered a bunch of questions for me in a satisfactory manner, so I decided to go with him. Right now the plan is to have the roof done Thursday or Friday depending on the weather.

I installed the second surround sound speaker (more attic crawling). Then I drove to Buda to pick up the antenna, came home, and installed it. Between these two activities I got in my ladder time. I also picked up a new sprayer to replace the one that froze and broke last winter.

I cleaned up the desk and chair using Murphy's oil soap. They look pretty good. I knocked off a little early to go to the city council meeting. Luckily I figured out that I had missed it by a week before I drove over there.

After doing the obligatory Craig's list search, I was feeling ambitious so I went back over to the house and did some unpacking. I unpacked some of the boxes from the study and put the stuff in the desk. I also unpacked a couple of boxes of my clothes. The closet is almost full and I've still got another very big box of clothes to unpack. Sigh.

Tomorrow is going to be another busy day. Washing, shoveling gravel, taping the bedroom, and more unpacking.
