We spent the day house painting. We decided to paint the kitchen a different color, so we stopped at Home Depot to get paint. Then it was off to the house. We spent the whole day on the kitchen. It got two coats, so it should be completely finished. The family room and entry will need a second coat, but we're going to wait until tomorrow when the sun is shining to do it. Today it rained cats and dogs for most of the day.
We won't get all of the painting that we have to do done before the containers show up on Thursday. We should be able to get enough done so that there is a place to put things where they won't need to be moved to finish the painting.
Nothing else interesting happened except that the dog got a bone that someone at a pet store gave us. It kept her busy for half the day. Only half though. When she was finished with the bone she stood at the doorway looking forlorn.
