The day started out with a disappointment. The plan was to go to the Wimberley Market Days. This is a once a month open air market where there's a lot of arts and crafts. We got there and the parking lot attendant warned us that we couldn't take the dog with us. So we blew that off and drove over to the Dripping Springs Home Depot to get painting supplies.
$300 later we had 4 gallons of paint, a ladder, masking tape, masking paper, and an assortment of rollers and brushes. We got to the house about noon and started painting. Actually Ellen painted while I did prep work.
We stopped a little after 7:00 PM. We only got the office done. However it's the room with the most surface area to paint. It's probably good that we got started on the painting today. On the way home we stopped at Home Depot again and got some stuff that we'll need for tomorrow.
The poor dog spent the whole day tied to the back porch looking in at us working. I think she's wondering what she did wrong. We made it up to her by stopping at Sonic for dinner and buying her a hamburger.
