When the alarm went off this morning I turned it off and went back to sleep for half an hour. Then I spent almost the next 2 hours playing Minions (don't ask me why). Then I got up and did the pet thing and ate breakfast. I was outside working before 11.
I hauled all of the rocks I collected the other day over to the well head. Then I started arranging them into a foundation. Once I had the rocks arranged I started leveling them. I leveled one side and almost got the second leveled before Ellen came out to say that her pump was almost empty and it was time to go. It was 12:30 and I was soaked in sweat (it was almost 100). I went inside, took a shower, and we left (the dog stayed at home).
It didn't take overly long at the doctor's office, but it was after 1 when we were done. Ellen's port is infected, so that means more antibiotics and doctor appointments. We ate lunch at Red Lobster. We haven't eaten at one in almost 10 years, maybe more. We had a coupon. The food was OK, but there are other places that we like more.
After lunch we went to Costco for water and chocolate covered mangos. Then we stopped at the bank and had them fix the problem with the debit cards and the account names. The last stop was Walgreen's for Ellen's new drugs.
It was 104 when we got home, too hot to walk to the mailbox. So Lucy got a treat, and an hour later got dinner without being out of the house.
I got Ellen's guns ready so that she could got to ladies night at the range. When she got back she said that it was OK, but a little boring. Apparently it was a "practice night". That meant a bunch of moms teaching their kids to shoot. Apparently other nights are more interesting.
My evening was watching the Olympics (beach volleyball) and some travelog kind of shows.
