Day 320

We slept in today.  I think it was in response to the last two early mornings.  I played a little Minions, Ellen surfed.  We got up a little before 9.  I did the pet things and had breakfast.  I just got started surfing when Ellen said her pump was running out.  So we put the pets away (including Lucy) and left for the doctor.

The clinic was packed.  There were half a dozen people in line at the counter.  Ellen got checked in, but she had to wait quite awhile to get a chair.  Once she got one, pump removal was really quick.

After that we went to SportClips so I could get a haircut.  It came out fairly good.  While I was there Ellen went to Best Buy.  She saw a TV she liked, so I went back with her.  I really like it.  We may get one, but I'm going to wait for the Thanksgiving sales.

After that we walked over to Spec's to look for snow cone syrup.  The only one they were out of was the one I wanted - prickly pear.  At least we know they carry it.

The next stop was Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  We were going to buy a new bath mat.  Perhaps that would stop Taiko from pissing on it.  That something he's been doing once or twice a day for several days now.  When we got in line, things got fucked up.  They didn't have enough cashiers.  The person two ahead of us was buying out the store.  So were the people in the other line.  The person directly in front of us made her purchase and then decided to argue over the price.  Of course that meant standing around waiting for the manager.  I went to the service desk and waited behind two people.  One slowly paid for their item.  The second wanted to return something and make some sort of deal on something else.  At that point I put the mat on a convenient display and walked out.  We can order something from Amazon.

The next stops were Costco for water and the post office.

It was over 100 when we got home - too hot to work.  So we spent the rest of the afternoon and early evening surfing.  Ellen went to the Sure Shot thing at Red's.  I'm about to look at what's on TV.
