I got up when the alarm went off. I took a pee, went to look at the weather, and decided I didn't want to work this morning. So I went back to bed for about half an hour and played Minions. Then I got up, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast.
I wanted to got to a estate sale, but it didn't open until 11. So we sat around and surfed. I was planning on leaving about 11:30, but about then Ellen got a cleaning bug. She got out the vacuum cleaner and vacuumed the whole house. I wasn't going to interrupt that. It took her about an hour, and we left afterwards.
The first stop was the post office. The sale was by Camp Mabry. Traffic wasn't bad, and we made good time. I took the truck, because I wanted to buy a storage cabinet that I saw on the web. It was still available when I got there. It was a rusted out piece of shit, but it only cost $10. I also bought a sifter for use in my redneck paving.
The ext stop was Home Depot for some concrete and sand. I also picked up some mortar and concrete blocks for the pump enclosure project. Concrete, sand, mortar, and 8 concrete blocks cost $20. It's amazing how cheap that stuff is considering shipment and packaging.
The last stop was Culver's for lunch. Lucy didn't get anything. We weighed her yesterday and she hasn't lost any weight.
It was "only" 92 when we got home, but it was really humid. I unloaded the truck and decided it was just too ugly to do any work. So I went inside and surfed.
The evening was some reading and some TV. The SWIM crapped out even though it wasn't very hot. I put it in the lunch bag with an ice pack and it worked immediately. Unfortunately resetting the receiver caused me to miss an interesting show that I had been watching.
