Day 314

Things are developing into a pattern.  The alarm goes off, I ignore it and go back to sleep.  After about half an hour I wake up and play some Minions.  When I get to a stopping place I get up, do the pet things, and eat breakfast.

That's what happened today.  After breakfast I decided to take advantage of the cloudy, relatively cool, weather.  I went outside and trimmed the Azalea.  I also took the opportunity to rake up all of the dead leaves on the deck.  I took two cart loads of stuff ouit past the fence and dumped them.

That was the end of the useful accomplishments for the day.  Lucy hasn't done anything for the last two days, so today was a doggy day.  We went to the post office and then over to Petsmart to get more prescription cat food.  Then it was over to HEB for bananas and lunch meat.  The next stop was Tomlinson's for flea stuff.  Yeah, two pet stores in one day.  To top it off we stopped at Circle C to throw the bumper.  Lucy did about a dozen really long retrieves (there was a wind).  Unfortunately the sun had finally started to come out a little.

When we got home we hid out from the heat/humidity for the rest of the day.  In the evening I played Minions and watched a couple of old movies on TCM - one was a Lee Marvin movie I'd never seen before, the other was Rio Bravo.

The yard light is definitely not working.  I'll have to get a new bulb for it tomorrow.
