When the alarm went off this morning I turned it off and went back to sleep for half an hour. Then I did a little surfing and Minions, but got up fairly early. I thought I was going to Red's anniversary celebration. So after I did the pet stuff and had breakfast I started to prepare to leave. Luckily I decided to double check the dates. That's when I discovered that it was next week.
So I did some surfing instead. Ellen watched the Olympics on her computer because the SWM fucks up in the heat. About 10:30 we decided to go to the grocery store and the post office. Lucy had to stay home. While we were driving out of the development we changed to going to Dripping Springs for groceries, bird seed, and herbicide.
When we got to Tractor Supply I saw a "stall pad" it's a 4x6 piece of 3/4 inch rubber. It would be great for in front of my workbench. Unfortunately it wasn't going to fit in the car.
When we got home we ate lunch and did some more surfing. I'd kind of promised Lucy a run, since she won't get one tomorrow. So we went back to Tractor Supply with the truck to pick up the pad. We stopped at the soccer fields to run the dog. She only did 8 retrieves, but it was well over 100. Then we took a short walk through the adjacent park so Lucy could have some unstructured time.
On the way home we stopped at the snow cone place on 290. I had a snow cone. Ellen had a smoothy from the new smoothy/coffee place. They were free because it was their grand opening. So after my snow cone I got one, too.
When we got home we hid out from the heat surfing. In the evening we watched a taped Deadliest Catch and a zombie movie.
