I did another "turn off the alarm and go back to sleep until 8" move today. It's pretty common for me. Then I started playing Minions for almost an hour. When I finally got up I did the pet thing and had breakfast. Then I killed time surfing until it was time to take the dog to the vet. As we were leaving Walgreen's texted saying my drugs were ready. So we stopped there on the way to the vet.
We didn't even see the vet, we just let them take blood. Lucy has lost 1/2 a pound, but she has about 3 or 4 to go. Even so, we took her to the bakery so she could have a treat. Then we went to lunch at the place across from Harbor Freight. It was over 90, but a good breeze made it comfortable on the patio. No more people food for Lucy. She had to do with low calorie treats.
The last stop was the post office. It was hot when we got home, so I just surfed for awhile. Then I rearranged the safe to hold the new cases that had come in a package today. After that I was hot and sweaty from taking the old cases out to the apartment attic. So I decided to take apart the pump shelter foundation so that the bricks would dry out. I also used a wire brush to clean them so the adhesive would stick. I'm not sure how long it will be until they dry out enough to glue.
When I was done with that I took a much needed shower. An hour later I got sweaty again taking the dog to the mailbox. Oh well.
The evening was a little surfing and a lot of TV, including a movie.
