I turned off the alarm today and went back to sleep for about half an hour. Then I played Minions for awhile before getting up. After the pet stuff and breakfast I went out to work on the pump shelter.
I laid out the blocks I bought yesterday. I ended up with 5 more than I needed. I couldn't glue them though because it rained last night and they were wet. The adhesive needs them to be clean and dry. So I arranged the rocks on top to make sure they'd fit. I'll remove them and glue the blocks on a dry day.
That process didn't take long, so I looked for other things to do. I vacuumed out the concrete crumbs from the trunk of the car. Then I unpacked and assembled the sprayer I bought on Sunday. I attached it to the golf caddy. I think it will work better than the other one.
All this was done in warm weather with humidity in the 90's. So when I was finished I went in and took a shower. Then it was some surfing before lunch. After lunch we went to the post office. While we were driving there Centex called to say the receiver was in. So we drove over there. I stopped at Harbor Freight on the way back to get a long level. I think I'll need it to build the shelter.
On the way home we stopped at HEB so I could pick up a couple of things that I forgot yesterday. The final stop was Circle C so the dog could run. The sun was out and it was hotter than yesterday. She still did a dozen retrieves.
When we got home a couple of parts places had good sales for labor day. I made a couple of orders.
After dinner it was some TV and a movie.
